Recess week is here....

And so finally.....recess week is here. This sums up the six weeks of schools and now I have 1 week to prepare my 5 mid terms. 5! OMG. Lucky is not all together in one week. One of them is immediately the week after recess week and the others all fall on the following week after that. I have so many mid terms is also partly because 2 of my modules don't have finals, so have more tests and assignments. 

Anyway, I'm thinking of cutting my hair. It's just too looooong and thick. I really have the urge to cut it short for once. But I scared it won't turn out good. And also, I'll miss my long hair......once I cut it, IT WILL BE GONE. FOR. A. LONG. TIME. I have long hair since young. When I was in primary 2, I cut it short once and then LONG HAIR ALL THE WAY TILL NOW. And I recently realized I can do a lot with long hair such as the different kinds of braids which I'm trying to learn now. I kinda got fish braid already, it's really pretty! Should I cut it short and have a change? SHOULD I?

I was trying to see how will I look in bob hair, this photo kinda depicts how will I look with short hair...not bad right? HAHA.....Anyway, see my new specs! LOVE IT TTM!!! I've been wearing it to school everyday this week! Other than loving it.....the main reason is because I want to cover my face as my face was peeling and shedding like mad. I had IFG netball last weekend, on both saturday and sunday. The weather was super good and therefore I had a 'GOOD' tan! My face was literally black on monday. Then it starts to peel and shed the old skin away? My whole face was wrinkled up can! I remember the last time I end up like that was because I spent my day at the beach for the whole day with my family. And that was SUPER long ago. And now, with just 2 days I can end up like that. I don't even need to be at the beach, just under the sun at the netball court will end up like that already! And talking about IFG......team science netball was 3 points away from 3rd! So close of getting the bronze medal! So close yet so far! We were competing with Medicine. We lost by some points for the 1st and 2nd quarters but managed to catch up and be on par for the 3rd quarter. And what's even better was that Medicine didn't even get a chance to score in the 3rd quarter. So we really did a good job! But still, lost to them in the last quarter by 3 points. Kinda wasted.....*ohwells* If time permit, I'm gonna join again and determine to win Medicine next year! Team science does have the standard and skills! Next year! Have to beat them! 

So back to the question: Should I cut my hair short? ><

Brand new month :)

I had a great start for the month of september! I started today by heading to the basketball court to train my shots. The weather was awesome! I'm so afraid that it will rain.....

I hope this month will be a good one. Up till now there's 2 things for me to look forward to: chilling session with the girls and interfaculty games.

My family and I went out for dinner just now. I had 五香, rojak, mushroom curry puff and ice teh. I think I gain back all the calories I lost during netball and volleyball training....:(

Dragging myself to school everyday......

School hasn't been fun at all. Working is piling up but I doesn't have the mood to do. Or should I say I don't have any idea to tackle the questions? All so difficult and lectures are not helpful at all....I'm so stress....yet don't have the motivation to get things right....HOW?!?!?!?!?!? :( :( :(

I'm so scared that my CAP will keep falling and falling.......:( :( :( it's already low in the first place.....

OKAY HAVE TO STOP HERE.......and move on to something more FUN!

It's already end of july, august starting real soon and this means that school is gonna start. REAL. SOON. VERY. SOON. T.T

At first really thought that the 3 months holidays will be very long but now, it's gonna end in 2 weeks time.....:( But I really enjoyed this holiday! I make use of it to the fullest to earn money, though I'm tired, but I quite like what I'm doing~~~

Made new friends, especially at al dente! There's more youngsters there. I had a few outings with them and hope there will be more in the future.....:D

Here's some pictures of us while we were chilling at barossa after work! My new friend, liting! We sat there from 11pm plus all the way to 1am plus? It was a saturday yesterday, so we can afford to sit till that time because we can take the night rider home~~~

The wind was so strong yesterday, couldn't take a nice picture due to the wind! All our fringe were flying about like mad! :X

We were fully booked for outdoor dining area due to the NDP rehearsal. So we look fresh and neat at that time! I think I should take photos with the others with our name tag on.....:)  Oh ya, that's my name tag and if you see carefully, it's not shihui but helma, haha~~~

Went jogging today....because I feel kinda guilty after eating SO MUCH pastries for the week. And from tomorrow onwards I will be eating a lot too.....hais....have to workout more....MUST! Going swimming soon~~~and this means a nicer tan and a healthy body!!!

Last day at The Royal Mail @ Ascotts Raffles Place

Today was my last at work at the royal mail. This job was something new because it's not only a restaurant but located in a service apartment. Thus our customers are not only the public but also the guests staying in the service apartment.

Nothing much about today. I did the same thing as per normal, nothing special. Quite boring today as the lunch crowd is not big.

When it was time to go, I signed out as per normal and bade farewell. I took a photo with Nikki and after leaving the place, sort of regretted not taking photo with Darius and Catherine. Afterall they did teach me new things which is insightful.

I wouldn't say my stay at the royal mail is a bad one but neither will I say is a good one. Not bad because I managed to learn new things due to the new environment and people around me.

The bad part is I really have difficulty making friends with the people there. Especially the manager and the chefs. I know my character plays a part too but I dunno why....it's just difficult. Can you believe that until now I still dunno the name of one of the chefs? I very lousy hor.....x.x

What's worse....there's a gathering next sunday and I'm invited too. Having dinner with them!!! Won't it be weird??? I'll see how it goes.....should take this chance right? Try to open up and talk to more people.....been trying to do that for some time already......but seems like I'm still the same old me :(

Sometimes, I really don't like my myself. I really don't like my character - so quiet, dunno how to chit chat with others and join in the conversation etc....am I going to remain like this in the future? I always say I want to change but am I really trying? Or just saying only but no actions taken?

Overdue

I know my birthday is like 2 weeks ago, but I still want to blog about it. So on my birthday, I was suppose to have a day out with shunyu. But just so happen michelle is meeting the al dente peeps for buffet so shunyu and I join in too. In the previous post, I did mention that yingjie couldn't make it on my birthday so came out and chill with me the day before right? She actually appeared at the buffet too! What's worst, I didn't even find her suspicious when I see her at raffles city when I first reached. I thought she was meeting her friend there etc, I feel so silly can!

Anyway, so we had buffet at buffet town. It was not bad. They even make cakes out from small cakes, ice cream and waffles for me as my birthday cake. So many people help me celebrate my birthday this year......:) And it was michelle's 2nd time to celebrate on my birthday itself. I'm really glad to meet her in my life.

After that shunyu, yingjie and I went to catch madagascar at cineleisure then had dinner at swensen. There's another surprise too! Shinfen was there sitting there already! Didn't expect her to be there......so we chat and had dinner. It was my first time having chocolate fondue there too. Not bad! The chocolate was nice~~~

Then shunyu on her laptop and wanted to show me some videos. I knew it from the start when I see her carrying her laptop. The videos must be from jiaying and tzumi. But they say NO....I'm only 50% right. I was like huh? Still got who?

After I watched the videos then I realized I'm really not even 50% right. There were 2 videos and one was from jiaying and the other was from tzumi. But in tzumi's videos, she asked 3 of her medicine friends to join in. It was SO FUNNY can! I was surprised to see that they can say out my name and say hi to me so naturally as if they know me in person like that! One of the guys took out his guitar and started to play the birthday song. First time having a guitar to accompany my birthday song. :D :D :D

Jiaying was CUTE also! The korean version birthday song she lip-synced is so cute and comical! Her video was long and all filled with heartfelt words. Really touched to watch her video. And she mentioned that she might not be back in singapore at the end of the year......not sure when we can meet in person again, but I hope it will be soon ya? Just hope she can have a stopover at singapore or what......the four of us need to be reunion again~~~:D :D :D

That day was really filled with surprises......all thanks to shunyu for planning all these. Must have gone through a lot......

I also went for an OG outing not long ago. We had dinner at fish & co at park mall and the table was SUPER long. There were around 23-25 of us. The outing was a gathering to meet up because many are flying already and also to celebrate the may, june and july babies. So I got card and present from them! I asked my friend's sister's friend to help me buy TOMS from UK and they paid a portion of it so it's considered a present from dastan (OG's name). I really love it TTM! Although this wasn't the design I was looking out for but is still so PRETTY!!!

Went out yesterday after work at ascotts! Wah I think is the caffein, I wasn't very tired....maybe cos of the movie I watching also. I woke up at 6am, work till 3pm. Then change out my uniform and went lido to buy tickets for Sadako 3D, 11.50pm!!! Because I'm watching with liting, tiffany and shunyu then liting got work so have to watch it after her work. Liting and tiffany are my new friends whom I met over at al dente! The queue was SUPER long. All must be buying tickets for the spiderman movie, it was selling fast as shown on the screen.

Then I went to starbucks to meet shunyu who is queuing for the 1-for-1 drink! Green tea with red beans and hojicha with tea jelly! The green tea is NICE! I prefer the green tea than hojicha. Not sweet also! :)

We sat there and chat for VERY LONG. Once we got our drinks, which is around 4pm? We chatted like nobody business till 6pm plus, almost 7pm! It was good! :)

We had dinner at Xin wang cafe, first time dining there and I tried there hot yuan yang and fried noodles. Their yuan yang was more of coffee than tea, which shunyu doesn't like. I don't mind because I need all the caffein I need to survive the night. 

This fried noodle, not only look appealing, but taste good also! Worth to try! Especially if you are a noodle lover! I never really tasted this kind of noodle before, a new taste for me I would say! :)

Sadako was not really very scary, but the 3D effects are not bad. And really it's true, better to watch it in 3D. The horror and scary level is not that high, I started off my 2 hands on my face and not even halfway through the movie I'm already using one hand just to hold up the 3D specs and cover my eyes just in case something pop out! Hahahhahaha.......
